There are three ways to set your password depending on the user case.
User case 1, Registration:
- You will receive an email that contains a link right after you verify your phone number during registration. Press on the link to verify your email address and to create a password. You can choose yourself what password you want to use as long as it is within the password requirements of 6-30 characters and contains capital and small letters. It is important that you verify your email and create a password as soon as possible due to the fact that your email will be used in case you should forget your password. Reset link will only be sent to your email after you have verified your email address. Within the first 30 days after registration you will be able to reset your password using your phone number, but after 30 days, your email address is used.
User case 2, Forgot password:
- If you forget your password you can reset it using “missing password” function in the app or on the website mycontacts-app.com. When you use the “missing password” function, an email with a password-reset link will be sent to your email address. Please note that your email address needs to be verified before we can send you the reset password link to your email address due to security precautions. Within the first 30 days after registration you will be able to reset your password using your phone number, but after 30 days, your email address is used.
User case 3, Change Password:
